Alyssia began her passion for photography at 13 years old. After completing her undergraduate degree, Alyssia moved to New York City where she became a photographic model with Ford Model Agency. She worked in New York, Paris, Milan and London for internationally recognized fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle. By her mid twenties she began silkscreening her photographs and selling them in galleries across the United States. Alyssia received her Master’s diploma in the Art and Architecture department at Yale University. Upon graduation she headed to New York City to open a design studio. Her clients included Amex, IBM, Sony, Tiffany, Museum of Modern Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art, US Postal Service and Harvard University. After 25 years building her studio, she decided to dedicate herself to fine arts photography. Alyssia and her husband Pavel Kapic, a painter live and work in Lucca, Italy and Sarasota, Florida. They travel internationally which is often the inspiration for their work. Alyssia has exhibited in Europe, United States, South America and India in galleries and museums. Her work is included in private and public collections internationally.
